From a humble background where our wines were made for remedies, we have grown to become one of Australia’s oldest family wine company.

Winery History

With a long history dating back to 1886, we are now the fifth generation of passionate winemakers. Family owned and driven, that’s the essence of our wine business.

Winemaking is a beautiful combination of science and art, but it is the people that provides the heart and soul to make the best wines we can. Our 100-year-old winery has the advantage of both traditional and modern equipment and techniques. From the ground to grape to glass, our teams are united in one essential purpose, to make delightful wines to be enjoyed by people around the world, from the vineyard in McLaren Vale.

Process Education

As a family, we are always thinking about the generations to come. We realized that it is also our responsibility to take care of the soil that is our past, present, and future.

That’s why, we have been a leader in adopting sustainable and organic winemaking practices; guarding the future of our vineyards in South Australia. We believe that organic vineyard handling will bring more naturally healthy soils and vines, leading to more flavourful wines.

Crafts in Winemaking

Winemaking is a craft that captures soil, site, and season. As the fifth generation of winemakers and counting, growing grapes and making wine has always been in our DNA. Using traditional and modern touch, we allocated small batch Vintage House to handle our McLaren Vale and Organic premium wines.

Health Benefits

For centuries, wine has always had its place in history as a prescribed medicine. Today, wine is commonly used to celebrate joyous occasions in life, or to unwind after a long day or week.

The list of wines’ benefits is getting longer, and it goes beyond happiness and relaxation. A little trivia; the amount of moderate drinking for men is 2 glasses of wine per day, and 1 glass for women.
